I was introduced to Hama Beads about two years ago. They are a great way to spend time together as they take ssssoooo long to do the kids sit and chat for ages; the only fighting is if they both want the same colour bead ;0
B1 and B2 made the square heart and the multicoloured heart and I made the squirrel. I think my squirrel needs to get to the hairdresser, those roots need doing. B2 was the one who suggested we do Hama beading so she claimed my squirrel for herself. Now I 'owe' B1 and B3 one each as well!
How do you spend time with your kids? All suggestions for Family activities are gratefully received.

I always tried to get my son involved in projects. When he was younger, he loved working with potholder loops and looms. It gets a little tricky at the end, but as long as you are there to help out, you can ease the frustration. Bonus? We actually like using this style of potholder better than any other. Cotton loops are best.
