The kitchen garden report

The apples are admirable;

the peas are perfect;

the lettuce are lovely,

and leafy and lush;

the gooseberries are gorgeous;

but the beetroot are bad and the parsnip pathetic.
The stray carrot is a curiosity.
Oh well, you can't have everything!

    I too am a sticky beak - sounds much nicer than "nosey bitch" which is what hubby callsme!! Your garden is looking great!!
